The installation issue has been resolved.

1. Please remove instinctiv.com/repo if you added it as a custom source.
2. Go to installer, there should be an update available for Instinctiv Shuffle 1.0.5. Install it.
3. If no update shows up, go to sources, then refresh in the top-left corner. You now should see the update.

If you've found out about Instictiv Shuffle, you're obviously smart. So naturally, we can't really explain how our Instinctiv Shuffle™ works (or you might steal it :)). But here's a quick outline of the steps that our application takes to "understand" you and select just the right songs at the right moment:

1. Our application gathers the names of your songs and their associated playback.
2. Via a secure and anonymous connection, this data is uploaded to our server.
3. We analyze the music data and return information to your iPhone, enabling your formerly random shuffle to determine the perfect songs for you.
4. Instinctiv Shuffle™ doesn't stop there! It continually gets better, learning about you and your preferences based on your skipping behavior.

Bottom line- it's sort of like magic. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just enjoy!

We think technology these days requires too much work. There are too many choices and too many ways to consume those choices, whether it be your music, your news or anything else. That's why we created instinctive technology, which learns what you want, when you want it, based only on your everyday, existing behaviors. No more star ratings or seeing what your "friends" said.

Our first manifestation of instinctive technology is the Instinctiv Shuffle, but rest assured, this is just the beginning. Instinctive technology can (and will) be used to generate recommendations across all the different categories you care about, including other media categories such as movies and TV shows. Instictiv Shuffle is just the first use of our groundbreaking instinctive technology. Our next project is still under wraps, but rest assured it will be big and bold. All we can say now is it expands into other areas of media entertainment. Jailbreaking is a term for modifying an iPhone/iPod Touch to run third-party applications. With a name like "jailbreaking" you'd think you were doing something wrong, but thankfully for all of us, jailbreaking is completely legal. And it's awesome. Out of the box, there are many areas of your iPhone that are inaccessible to you. Jailbreaking frees these systems and unleashes your iPhone's full potential!

If you don't have a jail-broken iPhone/iPod Touch, don't worry-we've scoured the Web for the best "how-to" guide to make sure the process is as simple as possible.

At this point, we don't think you will ever want to go back to listening to random shuffle again. But alas, some people may want to subject themselves to this sorry fate and uninstall Instinctiv Shuffle.

Should such a travesty take place, no worries, Instinctiv Shuffle™ is has a zero-footprint uninstall should you change your mind. All you have to do is turn Instinctiv Shuffle™ off and delete the program file through Installer.app. No trace is left behind and nothing on your iPhone will be affected.

Right now we are only running on the iPhone and Touch. As we expand instinctive technology into other areas, we will expand what hardware we allow to support it, depending on demand. We currently don't have a desktop application for iTunes, but if you'd like to see one, let us know!

No. When we first realized the power of instinctive technology, we were presented with a difficult decision. Creating Instinctiv Shuffle™ with Apple's SDK (and all of its restrictions) would mean creating nothing more than another 'me too' application. So we had two choices:

1. Conform to the standards and limitations set by the Apple SDK, or;
2. UNLEASH a truly revolutionary iPhone application that will change the way we listen to music!

The decision was a no-brainer. And the result-The Instinctiv Shuffle-is nothing short of a next generation shuffler that will completely transform the way you play music. We are hopeful that Apple will loosen their restrictions in the future, at which time, you'll see us in the App store!

Not at first. As soon as the new iPhone is jailbroken, we'll be working hard to get it into your hands shortly thereafter.
