PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Martin Bouma, of The Bouma Group with Keller Williams Realty in Ann Arbor, and his listing specialist, Kristal Brown, completed certification as a distressed property expert to help homeowners work their way out of a looming foreclosure.
The Honorable Ann E. Mattson was honored with the Mary Foster Award by The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan for her lifetime of service and leadership, and her significant contributions to women attorneys and women in general.
CONTRACTS
DesignHub Inc. has written and designed new sales literature for American Aqua Inc., which provides water treatments and bottled water; both companies are headquartered in Saline.
Grand River, an Ann Arbor based web-design and development company, signed on a couple of new accounts, one with Discount Office and the other with Midwest Wireless.
TeL Systems, an Ann Arbor-based provider of advanced video, audio and communication solutions, has installed a new sound system in the University of Michigan's Crisler Arena.
COMPANY ACHIEVEMENT
Pure Visibility, an Ann Arbor Internet marketing firm, has become an Urchin Software Authorized Consultant, allowing it to sell and support Urchin Software from Google.
Borders.com, the Internet retailer of Ann Arbor-based Borders Group Inc., was named one of Internet Retailer's "Hot 100 Best Retail Web Sites for 2009, " the monthly national business magazine says.
