Technology in Education
The public represents the most influential democratizing force in human history, allowing students to increase their access to learning and opportunities to participate in new economic developments. If schools do not teach students how to utilize the Internet for research and inquiry, who will teach them these skills? It is up to teachers to develop new curriculum units that build these technologies into their students' learning. In so doing, teachers can model what it means to be learners, and at the same time become better teachers for a changing world. ( Cunningham, Billingsley, 2003 )
