Actor Jude Law is to become a father for the fourth time following a relationship with an unidentified woman, his spokeswoman has confirmed. The 36-year-old said he would play a "fully supportive" role in the child's life, despite no longer being involved with the mother-to-be. The child is due this autumn, following a relationship last year. Law has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, whom he divorced after seven years of marriage in 2003. His spokeswoman added: "This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made." Law earned Oscar nominations for his roles in 1999 thriller The Talented Mr Ripley and 2003 drama Cold Mountain. He is currently playing the lead role in Hamlet in London's West End and will next be seen on the big screen in October in Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. He is due to play Dr Watson in director Guy Ritchie's version of Sherlock Holmes, which is expected to be released on Christmas Day.
